exactly as described, shipping packages was well protected, love the colorI spent over $100 on this hat because I needed it for a wedding this week. It arrive in a bubble wrap bag crushed flat. It has creases all over it and won't go back to it's natural shape. For $100+ I'd expect the item to at least be shipped in a box. Great looking hat in the photos, but the seller's shipping methods will leave you attempting to reform the hat with steam. Pass on this one.UPDATE: I've decided to adjust my review on this item. The item itself is very nice after a complete reshape & stiffening. I'm increasing my original rating of a 2 to a 4 and I'll shift my negative attention to the seller feedback where it belongs.Great hat. The brim is 2.25”. I measured it. You cant get a straight answer from any of the web sites The color is darker, and the hat band is too, which I was hoping for. I wear a 7 3/8, and it fits fine. It must be a 7 3/8. Great quality as are all Baileys which are actually Bollman’s. Im overall very happy with my purchase. There were cheaper prices on other sights, but hats.com actually had it in stock. Took 8 days to Ks. So dont hold your breath. This hat doesnt really have an identity. Not Indiana Jones, not Pork Pie, not Rocky, not goat roper, not gangster. It kinda looks like grandpas dress hat, more of a proffesional, business air, vintage, maybe everyday 1950’s, except the cognac is really attractive, I really like it. Pops hat was grey. Definately 5 stars. I think the Frederick from Bailey’s or Stetson would be a good choice also. The Stetson is sized. Also....shipped in a very sturdy professional box. One of the few hats with a 2 1/4” brim. Might be ideal size brim. Any larger or smaller, they start trying to say something. I see this review published on Amazon, I had to go outside of Amizon to purchase. Levine took the order, but ultimately didnt have have it in stock. Went to Bollman’s Hat Manufactures, then followed the prompt on Bollman’s, to hats.com. They had it. Site was in Cal., but hat came from Pa. Watch Bollman’s mini movie on youtube. Its a mind blower, if your not already familiar with the manurfacturing process.I'm so very happy with the Bailey fedora hat i ordered. I researched for several weeks with other companies before deciding on this one. I'm pleased with the high quality construction and the color was true to how it showed on Amazon.The shape of the hat is bigNice hat , but there are better ones.This hat surprised me. I've returned these Bailey hats twice before. The first time was a size XXL which was too big. The second time was an XL which was too small. On my third try, I bought this size XL hat with the intent to use a hat stretcher to help with the fit, but I don't need that stretcher. This hat fit perfectly for some reason.The Bailey Packable wool Blixen hat is nicely constructed, looks great, and will make an excellent travel hat. Color representation from the photos on Amazon's site are fairly accurate. The only gripe is the delivery packaging. For a nice hat in this price range, it should have been shipped in a box. Instead, the hat was stuffed into a paper envelope and shipped via mail, so it ended up stuffed into my mailbox. Shipping it like this caused several creases which had to be steamed out.
