This is a pretty hat that feels warm and very cozy, but it is not perfect. I ordered the beige version which is a medium shade goes with almost anything -- especially all of the denim in my wardrobe. The faux fur pompon is not as nice as it looks in the pictures accompanying the product description. It is a medium size and is the color is sort of ivory with a slightly golden tone and subtle dark tips. The tips aren't really very noticeable until the pompon has been given a few good shakes. Unfortunately, the pompon isn't as full as I would like and it also has a bit of a cowlick on one side; the 'fur' fibers lay flat and don't really want to fluff. In addition, the core of the pompon wasn't perfectly round, so I placed a heavy book on top of it and left it overnight which helped a lot with both issues. I played around with it quite a bit and I think it looks okay but it just isn't as nice as the pom on my granddaughter's similarly priced beanie. The outer shell of the beanie is a pretty cable pattern with a ribbed cuff. The inside is a fluffy layer like the faux sherpa that is so prevalent now. Other than the issue with the pompon, the beanie seems to be well-made (although the product description states that it is hand-knitted, which is hard to credit). The label sewn into the beanie states that it is made of 100% acrylic. I would have liked the pompon to be detachable for washing. I wear a size S in hats, and this beanie has a rather snug fit, but it is comfortable and has plenty of stretch so I imagine it would fit almost everyone. It isn't long enough for a slouchy look, although I suppose it could be worn uncuffed, but then a thin line of elastic stitching would show. The hat is quite warm and I will wear it frequently when the weather gets colder. The current price of $10.24 seems reasonable but I would check the quality of the pompon before wearing or giving as a gift.I got this hat for my 13-year-old daughter to wear to school. She really likes it. The material has a very nice "knitted" look on the outside. I have some doubts about the "hand knitted" claim, but it does look good. Inside, the hat is thick, warm, and fuzzy. My daughter reports that it's very comfortable to wear, and unusually warm for a 100% acrylic hat. She also really likes the way it looks. She has warmer hats, but she enjoys wearing this one more than some of those other ones. After wearing it several times, the knitted material continues to look good, and the fuzzy insides are not pilling or falling apart. Overall, a very nice hat. I recommend it.This review is for the Women’s beanie hat. I ordered the beige color which is on the medium beige. The hat is a little on the smaller side. I love the look of the cable knit and the soft furry Pom Pom is adorable. It says, wool, in the description, but inside it only says acrylic. It is fully lined which makes it super warm.My wife asked me to order her a hat with a pom-pom on top. That is, as I am sure you know, a very important feature for keeping one's head extra warm.I selected this hat and she loves it. She especially appreciates that the inside is lined for extra warmth.I was intrigued by this line in the product's description and was eager to give it a try: "Suitable for a variety of occasions, you can wear it when you have engagements with your boyfriend..." I had to ask my wife to remove the hat during our "engagement" because the pom-pom kept tickling my nose. But it was an interesting suggestion...If pom-poms are as important to you as they are to my wife, then I am sure you will enjoy this hat. This hat is perfect for winter weather. I like how practical and stylish it is. Although it’s not as stretchy as I thought. I feel a bit tightness when I wear it. Overall pretty good, reasonably priced.
